Jelena Jensen was born in Los Angeles on October 7, 1981. She started her vocation as Jaded Video’s Product and Marketing Manager, while still in college. As their Marketing Manager, Jelena was responsible for arranging and running their kiosks at the several conventions. While doing spokes modelling during the shows, Jelena was frequently approached by companies offering her roles in explicit films. However, Jelena was not interested in hardcore and always turned them down.
During her second year at the Expo, a friend suggested that she do solo stills. Within a month, she had completed her first photo shoot with Scott St. James, which was issued in the August 2003 edition of Club Magazine. Although Jelena began modelling at first merely to help pay off student loans, her fame quickly grew and she is now modelling full time.
